More Birthday Celebrations!

Last night we had the Nolan side of the family (and Nana, Pop, & Auntie Linz) over for Cora's birthday dinner.  We ordered pizza and Cora had a beautiful princess cake!  It was perfect!  The Nolans are a big group, so it was chaotic but fun!  Cora got some great gifts and had fun just playing with her cousins.  The 3rd birthday celebrations are now over, and now begins the most wonderful time of year...Christmas!

Happy 3rd Birthday Cora!

I can't believe it...my little girl is 3 years old!  She has had so many birthday celebrations, she will probably be tired of cake and cupcakes soon (but most likely not!)  The Wednesday before her birthday we had a little playgroup party at Regency Mall.  It was Princess themed per her request!  Everyone played in the playarea and then we had lunch in the foodcourt.  Cora got all princess type presents, she was sooo excited!  I had to work on her actual birthday, so she enjoyed a fun morning with her Daddy and Joshua.  That afternoon Nana and Pop took her to see the Nutcracker!  Kelly and Madelyn went too.  It was a shorter version of the Nutcracker at Goochland High School.  Nana said she did great!!  The Tuesday after her birthday I suprised her at school with cupcakes!  The look on her face when she saw me was priceless.  I have never seen her so shocked and suprised!  We ate our cupcakes together and she told me she was so happy I was there (completely melted my heart!).  We still have one more celebration with the Nolan side of the family...and then her 3rd birthday will be complete!!  Happy Birthday my sweet Cora Hillyer, we love you more than anything!!

Joshua is 3 months old!

I can't believe my little man is already 3 months old!  Wow time has flown!  I am back to work now in full swing and busier (and more tired) than ever!  He does not go back to the doctor until 4 months but I already know my little man is a big boy!!  He loves to eat and has never spit up..AT ALL!  He holds onto every ounce he can!  He is so alert now and starting to reach and touch his toys.  His head control is pretty good and we still do tummy time every day!  He goes to bed around 8pm and wakes up between 4:00 and 5:30am to eat.  He then goes back to sleep until 7:30 or 8am.  Not too bad, but with working, I am hoping this boy will soon work his way up to 12 hours of sleep!!  Joshua has the sweetest personality and is so calm.  But when he is hungry, he will let you know (we all know his lungs work very well!)  Here is my sweet sweet boy...

Happy Birthday Madelyn!

Madelyn turns 4 on November 16th, but today she had her Princess Tea party!  Everyone wore their fanciest attire so Cora wore her Cinderella dress!  Aunt Kelly did a great job putting the party together...it was a royal affair!  Cora was so excited to give Madelyn her present.  Madelyn had been asking for a pillow pet, so that's what Cora wanted to give her!  She picked it out herself and every night she had to pet pillow pet.  She ultimately wanted to keep Madelyn's gift, and is now asking for a purple lady bug pillow pet for Christmas.  She already has 2 pillow pets, I don't know if her bed can hold anymore!  Happy Birthday sweet Madelyn, we love you!!

The Webster Wedding!

This past Saturday, our cousin Doug got married!  It was the perfect day for a wedding and his bride Caitlyn looked beautiful!  Cora was so excited to go to a wedding.  The last wedding she went to she was about 9 months old in New Jersey.  She did not go to the ceremony, but she made her appearance at the reception.  She had such a great time dancing with her cousins and even had a slow dance with a boy!  Joshua was a perfect angel but was WIDE awake looking at all of the lights!  I was trying to get him to fall asleep for the majority of the reception, so of course I took no pictures!  Thank goodness for Aunt Kelly to send me some pictures!  It was a great wedding and we were all exhausted by the end of the night!
