Strawberry Picking!

A couple of weeks ago we went strawberry picking at the Chesterfield Berry Farm.  We went with Aunt Kelly's playgroup and had such a great time!  The weather was perfect and everyone was ready to pick strawberrys!  Of course Cora got very messy and ate all of her strawberrys.  We did not buy one strawberry!  Madelyn was very neat and little Ellie beat everyone in the messy department.  After picking strawberrys the girls played in the corn trough and then we had a nice picnic lunch.  Everyone was exhausted by the end of the day, especially Aunt Kelly and myself!  But we had a great time and can't wait until next year!  Next year will be very different because I will have two children with me!  Maybe we will get Nana to come help:)

Best friends!

Eating strawberrys!

Not sure what to think of the tractor ride!

Coffee Talk!

Stella and Nolan spent the night last week and of course Cora had so much fun playing with her cousins.  It has become a tradition that every time they spend the night Sam makes all of them hot chocolate in the morning.  They all have their "Coffee Talk" time.  They look like little grown-ups sipping on their coffee mugs and chatting.  Here is a cute picture of the three of them.

Easter Day!

Unfortunately I had to work on Easter Sunday, but Sam and Cora went to Auntie Laurie's house and had an Easter celebration there!  Poor Nana got sick on Easter so they never made it over to Nana and Pop Pop's house.   But Cora had a blast playing with her cousins and having an Easter egg hunt.  Later in the week we had a little Easter egg hunt at Nana's when she was feeling better.  Aunt Doris even came over and  participated in the hunt!  Cora had so much fun playing with her cousins and looking for eggs.  We are very blessed this Easter...Cora is becoming a little girl with a huge personality more and more every day and we are so excited that Baby Boy Nolan will make his appearance at the end of the summer.  We can't wait to change the dynamic of our family...here comes a boy!!

Easter Bunny & Petting Zoo!

Last year's trip to the Easter Bunny was a success because Cora was still too young to be scared.  We thought this year would turn out like our Santa Claus picture, but we were wrong!  She was a little nervous at first, but she actually did just fine!  She would not sit on his lap, but she stood right by him and held Madelyn's hand.  She didn't smile, just looked nervous.  Poor Ellie was the most upset, but she still was so cute!  Then we went to the Petting Zoo and petted all of the animals.  Cora is an animal fanatic and we can't wait to take her to the zoo this year!  She had fun with all of her friends, and especially her cousins.  So far, this Easter is a success!

Her beautiful Easter dress!

Jack giving her a little love!

Petting all of the animals!

She has no fear!

Loved the little bunny rabbits.  Little Ellie is watching on!

Taking a look at the little ducks!

She was dirty by the end of the visit!

All I can say is PRECIOUS!  Love all three of those girls so much!  Next year a little boy will be in the mix!

Busch Gardens!

We had our first Spring trip to Busch Gardens this past week and of course had a blast!  The weather was awesome and we got to hang out with Kristen, Jack, and the Schaeffer girls.  Cora LOVES all of the rides.  She wanted to ride the "big rides".  This girl has no fear!  We had a few meltdowns over getting into the stroller, but other than that the day was a big success.  She was exhausted by the end and slept the entire car ride home.  We can't wait for many more trips to Busch Gardens this year, especially before Baby BOY Nolan arrives!!

Riding the balloon with Madelyn and Jack.

She has so much fun with Madelyn!

Laughing as always!

Riding the swings!

Could not quite figure out how to "drive" the bumper car, but still had a blast!

A big favorite for everyone~the Lady Bug ride!

All smiles!

More rides, more fun!

Palm Sunday

I had to work on Palm Sunday, but Sam invited Aunt Kelly, Uncle Bill, Madelyn, Ellie, Kristen and Jack to celebrate at our church.  Kristen and Jack were in town visiting for Spring Break.  Cora and I acutally got to hang out with them alot during the week and had a blast!!  Jack always cracks us up, he is so funny!  Here are a couple of pictures from Palm Sunday.

Easter Egg Hunt!

We always love to hang out with Aunt Kelly's Stroller Strides Playgroup.  So last Wednesday we went to Springfield Park and had a little Easter Egg Hunt!  This year is the first year she could really participate in finding the eggs.  Last year she had just started to really walk!  She had a blast playing on the playground and finding eggs with her little friends!

Looking for those eggs!
