Snow -Part II

And....another snowstorm!   We probably got a good 6 inches out of of this storm!  School was cancelled for two days which means more snow day fun:)  We went sledding over in Church Run on some smaller hills.  We met the McGuire kids over there and drove our friends the Schraders!  We then had Mexican for lunch and it was delicious!  What a fun day!  Side note...Cora is participating in Echo Lake's running club this winter to prepare to run in the Monument Ave. Kids 1 Miler!  Today it was cancelled so I asked her if she wanted to run around the neighborhood.  We took off running and she ran 1.75 miles without stopping!  I was so proud of her and she could have gone longer I think. She didn't look tired at all!  Those long legs may be some runner legs!

Snow Days....

The kids had President's Day off from school on Monday.  Then the big snow storm came through Monday night, and the kids were off ALL of last week!  We have stayed busy by playing in the snow, making hot chocolate, eating snow cream, bowling, going to Costco, and going to Jumpology!  Phew, what a week!  My neighbor is a channel 8 news reporter and she asked for pictures of what people were doing with their kids on their week off!  I sent in the picture of Cora, Josh, Madelyn, and Ellie making snow cream...and they made the news!  Quick picture of them, but oh so cute!  Hopefully we have school on Monday!

Snow Day 2015!

We finally got our first big snow of the year!  We were all very excited for the snowstorm since we really have not had much snow at all this winter.  We got about 6 inches which was perfect for us to have fun! Schools were closed and we spent the day with the McGuire family!  We had a great time sledding, playing in the snow, making snow cream, and just enjoying each other's company!  Yay for a fun snow day!!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Valentine's Day was a busy busy day last Saturday!  We started the day with Cora and Josh running the mile with Echo Lake's running club, going to Cora's Frozen class, selling Girl Scout cookies in Nana and Pop's neighborhood, and ending the day at Auntie Laurie's house for a party! Needless to say I had two little tired children by the end of the day. Cora and Josh ran downstairs and brought up their Valentine Day presents to open when Sam and I were just waking up!  So we had a quick present opening and then we started our busy day!  Lucky to have my sweet little Valentine's each and every day!
