Winter Wonderland Dance & A Snow Day!

Last Sunday Cora got to attend her first Girl Scout event!  It was a Winter Wonderland Ball put on by another local Girl Scout troop.  She was SO excited about the dance.  I had to work so her good friend Samantha and her mom picked up Cora!  Madelyn and Ellie were also there with Madelyn's troop.  She loved seeing her cousins and had a blast!

On Tuesday we had a little winter weather roll through.  The northeast got hit with a big snowstorm and we got maybe 1 to 2 inches.  It was enough to close school for the day!  I was working and Nana took them out for a little bit to play in the snow.  Nana is a trooper for driving in the snow!!  I hope we get at least one "big snow" this winter.  These little snowstorms are not too much to write home about!

A little Girl Scout Fun!

We just had our second Girl Scout meeting and it was a success!  At our last meeting, we had my neighbor JP, who is a retired firefighter, to come and talk to the girls about being friendly and helpful!  They loved it!  JP even let me wear his gear:)  Girl Scouts is going smoothly so far and Cora absolutely loves it!

My next career?!

Ashland Train Ride!

Last Monday the kids were all off of school for Martin Luther King Day.  Nana and Pop decided to take them on a train ride!  They went down to the Main Street train station and rode all the way to Ashland!  I was working but I am so glad they all had so much fun!!  Aunt KK met them up in Ashland and they enjoyed a nice lunch.  What a great experience!  Thanks Nana and Pop!!

Happy Birthday to Me!

Well I am now 33 years old!  I had a very relaxing birthday.  Let's see what I did...I carted the kids around to many places:)  But on Saturday Nana and Pop had us all over for my birthday dinner.  We had a very nice dinner and my favorite cake.  We had lots of laughs and the kids of course had a blast.  I absolutely love being in my 30's...the best years yet!

Holden's Baptism

On January 11th, my sweet nephew Holden James was baptized.  I am honored that I was chosen to be this little guy's Godmother!  It was a beautiful service and Holden did so well.  I love my precious nephew and am so glad we now have a special bond:)

Christmas!

We had such a wonderful Christmas!  It was filled with family, food, presents, and love!  We had a very busy Christmas Eve and Christmas day.  We went to the Grammy and Papa's on Christmas Eve. We did our  Secret Santa and the kids absolutely love that part.  Josh was Beau's Secret Santa and Cora was Josh's Secret Santa.  Cora got her gift from Nolan.  They were so excited to find out who everyone had.  It was such a fun time!  On Christmas morning Santa came and left lots of good presents!  Cora and Josh loved everything and it was such a magical and special morning.  We had a wonderful brunch at Auntie Laurie's house and then headed over to Nana and Pop's for Christmas evening!  We always have such a fun time at Nana and Pop's!  The food was delicious and Nana and Pop go out of their way to make everything so special.  We are a very lucky family to have so much love!!  These pictures are a little out of order:)
