Happy Easter!

I had to work on Easter this year so we got together the day before at Nana and Pop's house. The kids had so much fun hunting for Easter eggs in the backyard. We had an awesome dinner followed by opening the Easter gifts from Nana and Pop. All of the girls got puppets from Nana and Pop and they were a huge hit!! We had such a great time getting together as always!

We disovered little Joshua can pull off a pretty good fauxhawk! He is so cute when we spike his little hair, I just love it! If I give him a bath at night and spike it up, it looks exactly the same the next morning. Here are some pictures of the little man with his fauxhawk!

Softball & New Teeth!

We have been busy playing outside so much lately. It's so hard to bring her inside, I think she would sleep out there if she could! We have been playing softball in the backyard and Cora can hit the ball pretty good! Maybe a softball player in the future??! Joshua is still his sweet self, well almost:) He is now the proud owner of two new bottom teeth. We have discovered he is NOT a good teether. Cora on the other hand had no problem getting teeth. Never cried, never lost sleep over it. We never even knew she was getting a tooth until it was fully in! Her brother on the other hand...Lord help us all! He is not handling the "situation" very well, and he's letting us know. Poor little man, I think he just wants some extra attention from his mama:)

Here Come's Peter Cotton Tail....

Easter is this weekend so we have started the Easter festivities this week! Cora has been singing Here Come's Peter Cotton Tail for a few weeks now...she sings it perfectly! She is all ready for Easter! She had her little preschool Easter party this week. I was in charge of the snack/table setting. Cora was SO excited that I was coming that day, she let her teachers know about it all week long! The party was very cute and I got to watch them have their Easter egg hunt. Pop Pop kept Joshua, so it was just my sweet girl and I..she had me all to herself!
Today our Wednesday playgroup had a little Easter egg hunt at the Meehan house! The kids had so much fun looking for eggs. We all brought a little something for brunch so it was perfect! It has been so nice to be outside alot lately. Now we are all set for Easter! Next stop this week..the Easter bunny!
