The Most Wonderful Time of the Year....

December started off with a bang with Cora's 4th Birthday!  We have since been very busy with Holiday fun!  First off, we have started the Elf of the Shelf tradition.  Cora picked out the name Dopey!  Cora and Josh are in LOVE with Dopey, especially Josh!  He squeals every time he looks at Dopey, it is so cute!  Every morning they go to find Dopey and everyone gets so excited!  He is a cute little guy!  Other than that, we have gotten the house decorated, visited our favorite tacky light house (mutiple times!), and are busy getting ourselves ready for the most wonderful time of year!!!

Cora's Makeup Runway Fashion Show Birthday Party!

Today we had Cora's birthday party.  Her birthday is this Tuesday, so we have lots of celebrations until then!  Cora has been requesting since this summer for a Makeup runway fashion show birthday party.  Where she got this idea, I have no clue.  But she has stuck to it!  With some research I found other ideas from the web and put it all together!  I have to say, her party was a hit!  Sam made a 16 foot runway..it was amazing!  The party would not have been the same without it...it made everything fit together!  Ten of Cora's closest friends (and cousins) came in their fanciest attire and worked that runway!  Kirsten was very generous and did their makeup before it was runway time.  The girls looked awesome!  I only grabbed some quick pics with my phone since it was so much going on.  Hopefully Aunt KK will send me more to add to the blog.  But here are just a few.  What a wonderful day!!

Thanksgiving!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving this year.  First we headed over to the McGuire house and had lunch.  Meme, Uncle Bobby, and Jenny were there too!  We had a great time together and ate lots of good food!  The girls of course had a blast together and Josh joined in with them playing as usual!
We then headed over the Susie and Gerald's house for dinner.  We had a great time there and there were lots of people, so it was a crowded house!  Cora had fun playing with her cousins, especially Nolan.  Josh walked around and clung to his Mama for the most part (this boy sure does love his Mama!).  It was so nice to be around family and have everyone in the same area for the holidays.  We have lots to be thankful for this year.  Let the holiday season begin!!

Happy 5th Birthday Madelyn!!

So I'm a little behind (again) in the blog world, so let me get caught back up!  A few weeks ago Madelyn had her 5th Birthday party and Pump It Up!  We had never been there before so it was very exciting for Cora!  Josh was a little hesitant but loosened up in the end and started walking around.  He even sat at the big kid table with everyone!  Hard to believe Madelyn is 5 years old and will going to school next year!  Where does the time go?!  I remember it like it was yesterday that I first laid eyes on that beautiful little girl...we love you Madelyn!!
