Cora's Dance Recital!

Central Virginia Dance Academy always puts on an impressive dance recital. It is held at the Carpenter Center and literally takes up the whole weekend. There is spacing and dress rehearsal on Saturday, then there are two shows on Sunday (each show is 3 hours long!) It is exhausting but such a fun and exciting experience for the dancers. This year Cora took Jazz/Tap 1 with Madelyn and Lillian. They did a Jazz routine to Peter Pan with the song The Great Divide. The girls loved being in class together and had such a great time! It's been a great dance year and next year Cora will take Jazz/Tap 2! Everyone did such a great job and it was such a great show!

Summertime!

Summer is well on it's way and Cora has less than 2 weeks of school left! Josh finished a couple of weeks ago but is actually going to his preschool camp this week. Swim team has officially started and we are busy going to the pool every day for practice! Josh is doing pre team this year and he was a little scared at first but now is loving it. He will practice 3 days per week but not participate in the swi meets. Cora has practice 5 days a week, phew! Josh is a little fish and such a good swimmer. Cora is doing awesome and looking great in the water, she is an awesome swimmer! I am so proud of both of my kids!! We are ready for summer fun and swim team fun!!

Lindsey and Tony Wedding!

My good friend Lindsey Duke got married a few weeks ago in White Oak, VA. It was the most beautiful setting on the water and the view was amazing. Unfortunately it rained and was a bit muddy, but everything was still so beautiful! It was a very loving, happy wedding with two sweet people. Cora and Josh had a blast and could have played and played and played by the water. We are so happy for Auntie Lindz and can't wait to see what the future holds for her and Tony!

Happy Birthday Sam!

I'm a little behind in blogging, but I have a good excuse! We sold our house and have moved into a new house in old Glen Allen! It was a bittersweet move since we loved our neighborhood and neighbors, but we just needed a little more space and a garage! Before we moved, we celebrated Sam's 42nd birthday! We went out to have Mexican food then came back home for some cake and decorations. It was a simple and sweet birthday and we had a great time! We also celebrated his birthday with a trip to Busch Gardens later that week! The kids had a blast and it's so much fun now because they want to go on big rides, especially Cora! We had a blast and can't wait to go back again!
