Happy Easter!

This past Sunday we celebrated Easter!  Of course I had to work, but I always know the kids have an amazing Easter with their Dad.  This year they went to Auntie Laurie's house.  They had a great time hanging out with their cousins on the farm!   The day before Easter we had a little Easter egg hunt with Kelly's Mom's group from their church.  We had lots of fun hunting for eggs and enjoying a brunch afterwards. 
The Easter bunny annual trip went well.  Nana and Aunt KK took the kids and they had a blast!  I was working (seems to be a theme for Easter?!)  What a great Easter we all had!

Spring Break!

Last week was Spring Break.  Kelly and I wanted to get out of town for a few days just for a change of scenery!  Aunt Doris and Uncle Harold were so nice to let us stay in their time share in Williamsburg for a few days!  It was a perfect setup for all of us.  Aunt Doris and Nana stayed in one condo, and Kelly and I with the kids were in the other.  We all had such a fun time!  We went to the indoor pool, played putt-putt, went to Jamestown, and even ate at I-Hop (long story how we ended up there but it was delicious, ha!!)   What a great get-a-way for all of us!

Memorial for Pop Hillyer

Last weekend we headed up to New Jersey to attend Sam's grandfather's Memorial Service.  Pop Hillyer passed away in January.  There are so many stories and memories from Sam, his sisters, and Grammy that I hear all the time.  He was such a great man and I'm glad we made the trip as a family up to New Jersey to celebrate his life.  Even Lena came!  I love to make that trip up to New Jersey because we always have such a wonderful time with family.
