Holden Beach 2015!

We changed up our beach trip this year by going back to our old stomping grounds..Holden Beach, NC!  My family grew up going to Holden Beach.  The last time we were there was in 2007.  We decided to change up it up and see how we liked it this year and it turned out great!  Holden Beach is much smaller but had a lot of fun things to do.  The waves are much calmer so the kids could swim out there much easier.  We even got to go tubing with Captain Scott!  He was great with our kids and even gave us free putt putt and ice cream at Fantasy Island (which he owns)! Growing up I have great memories of going to the Holden Beach Water Slides, so we were excited to take the kids there!  The kids loved it and we are pretty sure it has not been updated since the last time we were there:)  We also went to a Holden Beach summer concert!  The kids danced and danced and we had such a great time.  We could walk to the concert from our house so it was so nice to walk to near by places and not drive!  We had a very nice house but it had a very small pool.  The kids loved it anyway even when trying to swim over top of each other to get to the other side.  Tom and Vera joined us for the last two days and it was great to see them!  We had wonderful food all week and enjoyed each other's company.
We also celebrated Josh's 4th birthday at the beach!!  He first came to the beach when he was 10 days old and has celebrated every birthday there since!  What a lucky guy!! Here are a ton of pics from our awesome vacation (a little out of order)!!
