Pumpkin Patch!!

This week Kelly and I took the kids to the pumpkin patch. The McGuires had already taken Josh when they were watching him during our wedding weekend, but Cora had not been yet. And of course all the girls have to get together and have fun at their annual pumpkin patch event! Our usual place was Hanover Vegetable Farm, but unfortunately it was closed due to too much mud (it only rained for a week, ugh!) So we then decided to hike out to Ashland Berry Farm. I'm glad we did because we had a great time! The kids had a great time on the hayride, picking out their pumpkins, and going into their first boo house! Well, Josh was a little scared, but the girls loved it! What a fun start to our fall season!

Wedding weekend!

Two weekends ago we headed down to Raleigh, North Carolina for Jay and Iris' wedding. We stayed in the Umstead Hotel and Spa, which was simply amazing. I have never stayed at such a nice resort. Everything was beautiful and perfect. I didn't take many pictures during the wedding, but I did get a few of Cora and I:) Cora came with us because she visited her friend Talia who moved down there this summer. She had a great time sleeping over at Talia's house the night of the wedding. It was a great little weekend getaway.

Buster and Donna's!

Last month (I can't believe we are mid way in October), we went to visit Buster and Donna who live on the Northern Neck. They have a beautiful home right on the water. It was such a relaxing day with the family. Pop, Nana, and the McGuire's all were there and we had such a great time! The water was amazing, the food was delicious, and the company was even better. The best part of the trip was how we all got to ride in the boat! It was so much fun to watch the kids get excited about riding in the boat with Buster! What a great, great day!
